Election countdown: The US presidential race enters its final full week of campaigning as candidates make a final push to visit crucial states and win over voters.
One prominent voter is President Joe Biden, who the White House has said will today cast his early-voting ballot in this year’s election. Meanwhile, vice-president and Democratic nominee Kamala Harris will travel to Michigan for several campaign events, culminating in a rally in Ann Arbor with running mate Tim Walz. Republican candidate Donald Trump will be travelling to Georgia to deliver remarks this evening at a rally in Atlanta.
Ford: The US automaker is forecast to report a rise in quarterly revenue and earnings, having recently revealed modest sales growth during the three months to September 30. Separately, the maker of The North Face apparel and Vans sneakers, VF Corporation, also reports after Wall Street’s closing bell.
